A Sous Chef (“SC”) plays a crucial role in Moba service kitchen, working closely with the Head chef to ensure the smooth and efficient performance of the culinary team and kitchen operations.

The requirements for a SC include a solid culinary education and extensive experience in various kitchen roles, exceptional culinary skills, curious mind and proven creativity. A deep understanding of various cooking techniques is essential.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of a Sous Chef involve overseeing day-to-day kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation i.e. packaging. SC is responsible for menu planning, inventory management and ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes.
Sous Chef must lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Additionally, SC collaborate with the Head chef and Test kitchen on creating new recipes (meal rotation, as well as origination and introduction of new dishes), maintaining culture of high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and managing kitchen costs effectively.
Senior baker with extensive experience

We are looking for a skilled professional responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ranging from bread and buns to tortillas and crackers. Considering Moba’s attention to bread and pastry, Baker contributions are integral to the overall success of the kitchen establishment. The Baker is an integral member in menu planning, together with Head chef, Sous chef and Test kitchen.
Requirements
Requirements for a Baker include formal culinary education or specialized training in baking techniques, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for the art of baking. Experience with a sourdough, as well as a creative flair for designing and executing visually stunning and delicious pastry, is considered a strong plus.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Baker involve preparing and baking a wide range of products, ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and appearance. The Baker is also responsible for developing, testing and refining new recipes, managing inventory of baking supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the baking isle. Measuring ingredients accurately, operating baking equipment proficiently and the ability to troubleshoot and adjust recipes as needed, is a must.
The Baker needs to possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment, especially during peak service times.

TKP plays a pivotal role in Moba by pushing the boundaries of flavor, through ingredients and techniques we deploy, ultimately influencing the “What” our kitchen staff cooks and the “How” our clients enjoy food.
Requirements
TKP must have a keen palate, creativity, and the ability to meticulously document and adjust recipes.
Requirements for this role typically include either a culinary degree, or extensive experience in recipe development or in professional kitchen, as well as a deep understanding of food science and flavor profiles.
